How to submit your “I Helped Build That” story

Have you helped build something with a crane that you’re proud of?
We want to see it!
Send us photos or a video of a crane lift or project you were involved in and tell us a little about what you helped build.

How It Works

Send Us Your Photos or Video

Show us something you were part of and proud to have helped build with a crane.
Along with your photos or video, tell us:
  • What was the project?
  • Where was it?
  • What did you or your team do?
  • What crane was involved?
  • What made the job special, challenging or memorable?
  • Who should we tag? Include the social media handles for your company, the project, principal contractor, client or anyone else involved that you’d like us to tag.

We’ll check it out

Every submission will be sent to our CICA technical expert for review before it is published.
Please make sure you have permission from the relevant company, principal contractor or PCBU to share the photos, video and project information.

We’ll share your story

Once approved, we’ll upload your “I Helped Build That” story to the CICA website.
We may also feature it on our social media channels — giving you the opportunity to repost, forward and share your story with your own networks.

A couple of things to remember

  • You must be a CICA member to submit.
  • We’ll publish one “I Helped Build That” story per person at a time.
  • If you submit another story later, your new submission will replace your previous listing on the website.
  • Please only submit photos and videos that you have permission to share.
  • Make sure your submission reflects safe and professional crane operations.
